Marki is a New York-trained actor.
Marki is an ensemble member of The Collective NY, a group
founded by figures like Amy Schumer and Emmy Award Winner
Kevin Kane. She has performed in various shows with The
Collective and trained in the Meisner technique at The William
Esper Studio. Additionally, Marki has worked with the Writers
Guild of America East as part of the Made In New York Writers
Room Fellows.
As an actor, Marki has appeared in projects such as Paris is in
Harlem (Slamdance), Inpatient (Seriesfest, nominated for Best
Drama Pilot), Tucker’s War (Pan African Film & Arts Festival),
Child Support (Directors Guild of America Student Film Award), A
Black Tribute and A Red Scare (Harlem International Film
Festival, won Best Feature Screenplay), and the TV pilot
Resurrected 2024 (Writers Guild of America East, The Lincoln
Center).
Marki’s belief in the power of innovation and transformation
serves as the driving force behind her work. She believes when
you think beyond conventional limits, you tap into the realm of
possibility where truly extraordinary things can happen.
